i freaked out and stoped pumping gas...i did not have a full tank and the nossel was all the way in.. i take it out, put it back and get the gas attendent, he shrugs and puts on sand down over the spilled gas. i thought i had a leaking tank or something 'cause it came out from underneath also...confused i checked out the car and decided to try it again and it worked fine....is there something i don't kno about our gas tank or am i a moron..i'm going with answer choice b

Coming out the bottom of your car would probably be the little bit that went through the overflow drain, aside from the massive amount the flowed over that drain.
