My Audi sales rep gave me a little speech about the survey call I would be getting, and how if I didn't respond with the highest score on all of the questions, it would hurt their bonus. I felt that this was unprofessional, trying to sway the customers opinion using sympathy.

The rating scale isn't exactly linear.
For example, a rating of 3 (out of 5) is generally considered a pass (60%). Not so with AoA.
There was a post a while ago about the rating scale. That's all I remember of it.
Anyways, basically, if you give your salesguy anything less than a 5 (out of 5) on any point, it looks bad in his record.

whether they have control over the situation or not. The total combined scores are tallied every month. People with bad scores can be let go, since so much is at stake.
Yes, it is really dumb. It has nothing to do reality. It's a JD Power thing.
If you have had a really good or really bad experience, put it in a short letter and send a copy to the manager, store owner and AoA client relations. Has far more effect.

All the options are listed in my first post, but I'll run them again: 1.8T CVT, Dolphin gray, ebony interior, sunroof, sport package, Xenons, Bose.
And now that I have the paper work right in front of me (I was at work earlier), the price I have is $27,978 inlcuding destination charge. Looks like minus destination charge price is a little under invoice. Anyhow, I'm happy with the deal I got and can't wait for the car to arrive! =)
