Try torquing it down first, it can't hurt and it might save you $30, if that doesn't work just get a new one

My current fuel pump (2nd) has been whining for about a year now and I simply don't trust it anymore. Yes I did a fuel filter change. Didn't help.
This time I'm not going with an OEM fuel pump. I'm just waiting for the Bosch Motorsports 044 fuel pump to get to my mechanic from 034 Motorsports.
Yes my car is under CPO and I could've probably argued for another OEM replacement, but I just don't want to run OEM anymore.

Mike Hood is running this fuel pump on his crazy B5 2.0L GT35 pushing 30+ psi, 10.something 1/4 mile car
Keep in mine that a higher flow fuel pump is not really a requirement for a BT B6.
