The oil gauge started to blink and beep at me. what exactly makes the oil gauge go off? Low oil, hot oil? Either? And i did smell a little bit of a funky smell.

Default any leaks under the car? gauge usually goes off it it's low on oil.

1. they might have forgotten to put oil in the car?

2. they might have forgotten to put a filter on the car?

3. they might have put 1 bottle in the car instead of 4+

4. they might have not screwed the bottom nut back into the oil pan and therefore oil leaked and is still leaking?

5. they might have accidentally nudge the oil sender wire and it's loose?

6. others...
