It's been a grueling 2 months that i've been waiting. i LONG to hear the dealer's voice, telling me my car is coming. I finally called up the dealer and asked him a stupid question just so i could ask about my car. being built this week, with delivery being 4 weeks, so end of may.

all this cause i wanted the 3.0 but didn't want the price of the leather.

1 more month of agonizing wait.

Hey Sensation_Mido, Audi of Charlotte orders most of their 3.0's with leatherette not leather. They reconized that without leather a nicely equiped 3.0 comes in around $36K instead of $38ish (BMW territory). I don't know how far from Charlotte, NC you are but they may have what you want on their lot.

I got a 3.0 denim with platinum leatherette, tiptronic, quattro, sport, and sunroof (MSRP $35915) for $34300. The only thing is, if you are from the North and want heated seats, they normally do not order A4's with them (a Southern thang). My ABS is Terry Smith ... a very professional and non-pressure salesperson. Give him a call and tell him Doug sent ya.
