I have a rear light out and need to know what kind of bulb to get...
hey guys, for the second time in about 6 months my inside rear bulb in my taillight has gone out (driver's side). For clarification, by "inside" i mean the bulb closer to the license plate, as there are 2 that make up the normal taillight. If you could tell me what kind of bulb to pick up that would be awesome. Also, once the bulb is replaced, will this remove the fault light? Finally, I'm pretty sure I've seen a link before with all the bulbs in our car so people aren't incessantly asking questions like this one. Does that exist? Thanks guys.

The inner most bulb at the bottom of the tail light is part # N 017 732 2.
It is the "stop" bulb. Any parts department at an Audi Dealer should carry it or you could call your local auto parts store. And yes as soon as you have replaced the bulb the warning light on your dash display will go away.

how much do those things run these days?
I ordered my all weather mats today and I think the next thing on my agenda is a xenon upgrade. there's no denying the LED tails are teh hotness though. DON'T PUT IDEAS IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!

a little too rich for my blood right now...
I got to save up to put my USP front valence on and paint my lowers in December. Then an ECU flash in January. Speaking of which, where does an ECU upgrade provide the most noticeable power, in the lower gears? I'm thinking if 2nd and 3rd just had a little more juice I'd be really happy.

Sounds like a good plan.
Yup 2nd and 3rd will be very different.
Personally though, I would skip Stage 1 and go for a Stage 1+ setup (ecu upgrade with injectors).
Although I wouldn't run a Stage 1+ without an intercooler upgrade.

Yeah, everyone says 1+ is awesome, but I'm not really prepared...
to shell out for the intercooler. seeing that this A4 is the fastest car I've owned to date (previously had a '95 318i) I'm not really concerned about huge power upgrades. is the ECU upgrade still worth having w/o injectors? 170bhp to 210/215 seems like a pretty decent improvement.
