I have a rear light out and need to know what kind of bulb to get...

You get a chip, then small bits like the snub mount and SS, then you'll realize that you need brakes, then suspension, then summer wheels/tires, then injectors for a bit more power, then DSMIC/FMIC to take of the heatsoak, then the exhaust because stock is too restrictive, then a new clutch to handle the extra power, then you say... "Ah f*ck it!" and buy the APR stage 3+ setup.

If I knew how much money I'd waste on the 1.8T, I would've probably went with the 3.notthatslowbutslowerthanamodded1.8T engine. It would've saved me a lot of money. I do really enjoy playing around with the 1.8T though :-)
I like the fact that the turbo engine has a bit of duality to it. If you stay out of boost it behaves like a tiny naturally aspirated 1.8L, if you get into boost it turns into a monster (may be not as big of a monster as a chipped 2.7T, but a monster nevertheless). I also like the fact that the engine is moody (much like a woman) depending on the outside temperature and humidity. Oh and the whine... I never though I would get addicted to the turbo whine, it really is music to my ears.
Okay, that's enough rambling.

T_C said chip+injectors really should have an intercooler upgrade, so I think I'm gonna stick with the chip and a new DV. Then again, I got new wheels and had to upgrade suspension. New front bumper but I have to paint my lowers. There's always something else you "have" to do when you get a new mod. I'd love an exhaust, but I'd have to know it didn't drone and pick it up used (like I'm so accustomed to doing these days). They're a lot of money. And from what I understand they won't really provide any noticeable performance gains, especially since I'm not after too many go-fast mods.

than a turbo. That's just what I've heard. I love the whoosh of the turbo, wish it was a little more audible though. Oh, here's a question: with just a chip, will the turbo be more audible? I'm guessing it will be working harder and therefore maybe a little louder? Or maybe I'll just spring for a K04....no...must resist!
