i heard alloy wheel might be fixed up...

call a wheel shop in your area

I had to have a wheels repainted not long ago on my passat. You cannot tell the difference at all they did a great job.

Be wary of that sidewall tear. What did you hit?

Be very careful w/ tears like that in your sidewall. That could turn a hard turn into a dead A4 real fast. I'd put the spare on before I'd drive it at speed.

What did you hit, by the way?
