Default i just want my ipod in the car with me

whos got the best way to integrate ipod into our cars? done the research and still havent made up my mind. i want to get digital audio without sacrificing the in-dash bose. most of the "good" hook-ups require you to ditch your in-dash changer for the aux inputs. not willing to do it, that thing is an asset. been looking at the alpine and jl interface adapters that allow for multiple additional hook-ups, but they arent digital! another way would be a carputer, but if i was going to do that, i wouldnt have gotten an ipod. i know some of you high rollers have got something figured out, let me in on it!

Default If you don't have SAT it's a 15 minutes task

Just get the Dension Icelink or Audi iPod adapter, remove the head unit, plug it in and you are all set. The trouble starts if you have SAT or a glovebox CD changer but with the Symphony head unit it's no problem at all.

Default I can't think of a single one that is

Primarily because the HU hasn't got a digital input.
at least, not that I'm aware of. I'd be happy to pull my symph II off the shelf and post a pic of the schematic for you.

Default that would be sweet

jl audio makes an addition adapter called the clean sweep that allows for multiple additions, and is as close to digital as it comes apparantly. alpine makes a head unit with a versatile usb like input for easy digital ipod hookup, but id have to scrap my head.
