Default I learned somehting new about the alarm system from my service advisor...

He said if the alarm goes off, it will continue to go off until it drains the battery. He said this to me because I was having problems with the car being dead in the parking lot when left for 3-4 days. This make sense for my case but I'd think the Audi Engineers would have thought about this and prevented it from killing the car's battery.

When I park the car in my garage for 4-5 days at a time it always starts up with no battery issues. The battery is relatively new too.

So if anyone else has issues with their car battery dying you may want to turn the sensitivity down on the system and see if this works for you.

How exactly do you adjust sensitivity?

you need to use the vag-com software to adjust it or have the dealership do it for you

Default I didn't think it was possible but they stated they had a couple of cars that would do this...

now it may be an issue with earlier built Audi's but I would hope this isn't the case for newer Audi's.
