Default when I test drove my A4 last January...

we had a lil' snow, it's Atlanta, so no big storm, but still...

My salesman was like "go over there and trench that grass."

Cool, sales man wants me to trench the demo, I'm down.

Nice demonstration on the quattro, I could not trench the wet frozen grass!

Default Oh, you can...it just takes a little effort.

At the NE Winter driving event last year, I practiced driving around a skidpad...I found it easy to understeer, but oversteer proved to require a little work. After 30 minutes of toying around, one of the instructors hit the skidpad with his S4. He somehow (I'm still scratching my head) kept the car sideways...nearly 90 degrees/perpendicular to his direction of travel, while he went round and round the skidpad. In other words, donuts in a quattro! :-)

I'm going to go back up there this year and give it another shot! Too much fun! :-)

Default The NE Quattro club usually has two events in February.

Their website isn't updated with info for 2003 yet...it should be shortly though (next 3 weeks I would say). It's open to all, but it usually fills up within 2-3 days of when registration opens.

Default HEADS UP GUYS...

I've posted some preliminary information. Within the next 2 weeks, we should have solid information up on the EPAQC website regarding the winter driving event. For the time being, go to my post in the B5 A4 forum for some more details...

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1444088.phtml</a
