i need a bike for the summer...

i dunno..not enough sport bike feel for me...(more)q
rode a bunch of harley's and a couple of buell's last summer a harley dealer open house. felt that buell was too rough of a bike for what it's supposed to be. if you want handling and speed get a sport bike (i.e. yam r1/r6, cbr, gsx-r, ninja, duc, etc) if you want crusing get a harley/buell(more harley).

if you have never RIDDEN one before....
take the safety course first.
DO NOT jump on SPORT bike bigger than 600. i say SPORT bike 600 because sport touring 600cc bikes are not as responsive as sport 600cc bikes.
i highly recommend the suzuki gs500 (1989-2002) or suzuki sv650/sv650s as a beginner bike. the sv650 can easily be upgraded to look more sporty.
just please dont jump on a sport 600cc as your first bike especially since you never been on one before. but since it's your money and life, include me in your will to get some of you car parts.
but i dont say that to discourage you from getting a bike. i miss my bike a lot. but it's a sacrifice i made to keep my a4. riding is a lot of fun, IF done safely.
