I took out the armrest cupholder...much better!! I missed that space from the B5...

Default I took out the armrest cupholder...much better!! I missed that space from the B5...

All you have to do is take out the rubber moulding in the bottom of the cupholder. Trun two phillips screws a quarter turn, and it pops out.
Much better without the cupholders in there.
Just my opinion.

I'll be doing this mod tomorrow, that cupholder is useless- the cover of the armrest hits the drink!

Ohhh...its well worth the extra ****, I don't know why I didn't do it before. Takes literally 30sec.

Default Well, it depends on your needs (m)

I can't get rid of it actually, I use it a lot. Yes, I can't put a drink in there and close the cover but still better than driving in a hand and holding the other drink in the other hand.

Default I always have more than one drink

I go to fast food restaurants a lot and I bring food for me and my roommate, so I use both of them.

I use that holder for plastic pop containers with the rounded bottoms. The dash one doesn't cut it.
