I went to add some oil and couldn't believe that a funnel won't fit the oil filler hole!!!

I went to add some oil and couldn't believe that a funnel won't fit the oil filler hole!!!
What the hell were they thinking about when they put that plastic piece in the hole that prevents one from using a funnel to add oil on the 3.0!!!!!!!
Can one buy a special Audi funnel (for big $$$$, of course) or do I need to rig one up myself? Or do you just pour the 6 quarts of oil very slooowly over a few hours until it all goes in!
The Audi Engineering group is really starting to get to me......very **** poor designs! I guess the same engineer that developed the new dip stick did the oil filler hole also!
