I would think some people aren't planning on a BBK, but want beautiful 19" wheels, right....

When you order wheels you should specify if you are going to do a BBK or not. This way they know whether to build the wheel with a hi-pad in order to clear the BBK.

I'm using a 5mm spacer, and since the wheel is now being pushed out further, w/o this extra difference being taken up in the offset (lip/inner rim width), the tires now rub the fender. I don't want a spacer on the fronts. It also takes away from the hub and leaves less for the "hub-centric" wheels to hold onto. It's not the best way to do it. The wheels center piece has to have 5mm+ added to the hub so that it will clear the caliper. Then the lip an dinner rim widths have to be adjusted as well (less lips width/more rim width) to make the proper offset - no rubbing issues. Believe me, the last thing I want is to have to sell them and get new ones, but I have little choice. The BBK is done and I do not want to change that. I'm not going to spend the money to have it removed and the OEM replaced. Or, get another BBK. Should have went to HRE and had them measure and also obtained measurements from Stoptech. Same with F1. Everyone [HRE & F1] knew I planned on a BBK and told me it would clear.
And accroding to HRE, they are ET31. I'll check again though.

If HRE said the wheels they built would clear the BBK and they don't, then they should make it right. One of their claims to fame is that it's a custom build for YOUR application.
What's to say they will get it right this time? The fact that they will take real measurements off your car or something? If they were so sure it would fit before, no way I would give them a second chance to screw up yet again. Sorry, but I'd be absolutely pissed and demand they fix it. Hope it works out for you.
