With the current high fuel prices and no sign of a price drop anytime soon... I am quite happy with my 1.8T economy.

What fuel do you guys put in your cars? 91, 95 or 98 ron? I have been using 95 and wonder if 98 has better fuel economy.

Default If sticker prices weren't so high, I'd get one too!

I use 93 actually. That wasn't on your list, but I've never seen 95 anywhere here in Mississippi. or 98 for that matter.

Default Europe uses RON rating while the US uses (R+M)/2 rating.

98 RON ~ 93 (R+M)/2.
I use 93 R+M/2 all the time.

Default thanks for the petrol lesson!

I figure since the inside of the gas lid says 91-95, it means they really want you to use 93! Pretty much every gas station around here has 87, 89, and 93. Cheaper ones have the 91. Not saying it's bad, that's just what I've found in my area.

Default TJ: is Sunoco the only alternative for anything above 91 in the GTA?

Does anyone else offer a 93 grade?

Sunoco's been great but I'd like to give something without 10% methanol a go.

Default Sunoco appears to be the only alternative unfortunately :-(

I think Petro Canada used to sell 93 back in the day but not anymore.
