or do i have to re-wire everything and it will be a pain in the rear? possible or not? Lately i have all these great ideas but they all seem to get shot down and "not possible"

They should be plug and play. The set that I bought for my B5 to upgrade from halogen plugged right in.

e-codes are plug and play. all you have to do is put the bulbs in and they should be ready to use.

If you have OEM Halogen now, you have to either buy the Halogen or Xenon type E-Codes and get an aftermarket Xenon Upgrade Kit (best to have the Xenon E-Codes I suppose, since you have places for the parts (igniter,.. etc)). But I think you can do it either way with that approach.

The other option is to buy the "Complete HID E-Codes" which have the internals inside already and allow people with OEM Halogen to upgrade to Xenon and E-Codes at the same time.
This is what I am doing; I am getting the S4 B6 HID E-Codes with the internals from the complete kit swapped into them, so I'll have Xenon E-Codes now instead of Halogen. No fussing with Xenon upgrade kits , wires, igniters,.. etc.

Try Chris at <a href="http://www.epimporters.com/products/category.php?CA=6">EPi</a>. LL TEK also supposedly has them all set up too for those that want to go complete Xenon/E-Codes also. They basically supply a Xenon upgrade kit with E-Codes.
