protection but would 40mil stick out too much? Their kit also includes the fog light laminates as well.

Clear or gunsmoke?

Default I had the 3m clear bra on my fogs and headlights and ended up

removing after time because as it aged it seemed to not allow the light to pass through very well and made the lights seem dimmer than they actually were.

I'd go for the 20mil and clear film.

Default That is one thing I'm worried about with any film protection, that they'll age and

peel and discolor after a certain time. Wonder if its just better to wait and refinish the lens once a year or something.

my previous headlights were worn with sandblasts and crap, these new ones look much more amazing. trying to preserve that look.

Default For $40, I think it might be worth it. Extra protection and let the film take the hit

after a year or so, if they're worn down, just get some new film and replace if they're doing a good job.

Default I just ordered the 20mil film for my headlights...fog lights are part of it. Guess I got those too.

We'll see how they do, it was $40 for the films. Something is better than nothing to protect the new headlights.
