How was the B5? Biggest difference for you between the B5 and your B6?
I'm toying with the idea of selling mine and I'm starting to fall in love with the idea of a B5 2.8 Avant. Do you find the B6 more/less refined?

Definitely more refined. Here's my Pros & Cons list
B6 Pros over B5:
1) More power (can pass in any gear)
2) Better brakes (B5 stock brakes suck)
3) 6th gear (which was desperately needed in B5)
4) More back seat leg room
5) More storage & aminities (storage bins under the front seats, ambiant light and bigger glove are nice)
6) No reports of Control Arm issues (B5 was notorious for failed CA's!)
7) Better remote range.
B5 Pros over B6:
1) Better fuel economy (about 3mpg better)
2) Smoother shifting (B6 is grainy)
3) More gauges (no battery guage in B6)
4) Better looking rear end
Also, the B6 3.0 came stock with most of the stuff I had to upgrade on my B5 such as:
1) Xenons (I ordered OEM S4 ECODS from Germany)
2) Sport suspension (Bilstein/HR w/ECS coilover conv kit)
3) 17"s (loved my Moda R6's)
4) More power (had GIAC chip)
So this car was perfect for me. I really hated having to buy control arms all the time in the B5. If it weren't for that, I would have considered another B5.
