go back and complain. Last december I dented my rear right door and I had it fixed. But the paint from the rear door does not match exactly with the front door. I made a comment about it to the guy but he told me it would "blend". Is that bs? it's been a few months and it looks the same. Any suggestions?

it might show a slight change in hue as it gets small surface sratches (usually tends to brighten in color), but it's not "active" it cannot "know" what colors are around it. If you have the stones (and necessary paper work) bring it back and complain.

it's impossible for them to match the paint EXACTLY. generally they will feather the surrounding areas so that the two slightly different colors will "blend" together.
if you look close, you'll know the difference. but 99.9% of people won't.
