Yes definately time to start saving, but there are a few things which take priority over....
modding the A4 right now. I've got to have a french drain system put in my basement to prevent any further water getting in. We have had water get in it 3 times in the last 2 years and I know it is only a matter of time that it happens again. That'll cost close to $7K.
At this point I am thinking I'll keep my A4 for another 4 years maybe doing an exhaust or a couple of other inexpensive things and then upgrading to either an S4 or another A4 (if they offer one that has the 3.6 V6 (300hp engine) at that time.
