It sounds fine, but nothing special.

I'll replace the OEM headunit as well.

Default No more kodas? I remember hearing that they were real good back in the day...

Right now I'm looking at the Focal K2 Power line. There are different models and I'm having trouble deciding which one is good for me.

I ran the 165K setup (2003 line up) in my previous car. I'm not sure how the line up was changed since then and whether or not it's better or worse.

Heh. I still have a pair of original Utopia tweeters that I bought in 2003 but never installed.

Default i've got the stock bose and some 'bang in the trunk'

i have a couple of jl-audio w3s in 10" in a custom bandpass box powered by a 1500-watt max (not rms) crunch in my trunk (yeah a knock off of the punch, got it at frys for 200$ is actually a damn good amp).
i gotta say thats about all my car needed, and my denison icelink and i love it. absolutely love the amazing bass i get now, and the stock bose speakers sound soo much better than the stock speakers. i've had b6's with both bose and regular.

I've ran 2 JL W3V2's in my previous car. Bandpass, huh? That's some earthshattering bass right there

Default JL is def the way to go

i think a 10in W6 would BUMP in our cars. That is what ive been thinking about for a year or so now. Just waiting for the bank account to increase a little bit before doing it.

even with the 2 W3v2's it would bump.

Default yep, built and designed the box myself in autocad

got the dimensions perfect, and the port perfect, but the seal job around the speaker wires looks extra ghetto, and my amp needs better cooling.

im kinda fearing for my rear dash. when the back seats are folded down, its complete decimation with bass. heh even the damn tough audi rearview mirror vibrates.
