i'm looking for some suggestions on minimizing turbo lag, and thoughts?

I agree with Matt. There is no lag on a stock chip. A performance chip will give more felt lag...
due to the increased boost peak not being able to be made until 2800rpm or so but it will at least feel faster. cheers! Mike

no, it'll be more responsive at first, but eventually it'll respond less quickly over time
what happens is that the engine adjust throttle response to your driving habits to give the best fuel economy...but fuel economy does not equate to driving performance...when you do the TBA, the engine clears and basically relearns again....

If you get the chip, you can retain your OEM chip and sell the modified one later...
that's the way to go. Never give up your OEM code to anyone. Also you cannot sell a flashed ECU easily at all since they are key coded to the individual vehicle, but you sure can sell a soldered chip after popping your OEM one back it. cheers! Mike
