Default I'm going to see how the car reacts to the NGKs first as they are cheaper to test with

If the car runs better and smoother with the BRK7E when either I just keep swapping them out every 5000 miles and run fresh plugs or I put in a set of those F5DPOR platinums.

Which route I plan to take I don't know yet.

Anyone know the "R" part number (is VW the same, also)? TIA. Too busy to STFA

The part number is: 06B-905-115 R - part number is the same, the last letter is the revision

Default IMHO, replace all CPs with the "R" revision; alternatively, there's always the B5 CP... (edit)

that they sell on ECS Tuning. What I've noticed is that when I used the "L" version with coppers, they go bye bye. However, ever since the dealer popped in the OEM plat plugs, I haven't had CP issues... and that was about 30K ago.

As far as CP issues, BTDT and its been a PITA.

Might want to give the plat plugs a try and see if your CP issues still persist.
