Default I'm repositioniong my sub in my trunk, should it face the rear seat or away from the seat?

Space is a factor for me so I have one of the smallest and most powerful subs out there. It's a Boston Acoustics 8.5" sub that handles about 400W RMS.
What will give me a better sound?
Ever since I upgraded to the RNS-E unit, the sound in my car has changed and bass is either too strong or too weak, I'm trying to find a good middle ground.

sound waves boucing off the inside of the trunk is better than going straight into the seat back.

Away for more bass, into the seat for better sound quality

Default Got any pics of your setup?

I'm curious to see how much space your sub/box and amp takes up.

Any idea how much your setup weighs? I'm pretty **** about trunk space and weight.

Default explain? if he has it behind the seat, with sub facing towards rear

waves should bounce off back of truck and back up towards driver... no?
