im thinking about selling my Rieger Rear bumper.

Does Oettinger rear needs euro spec bumper?

oettinger has both versions, US and Euro spec..

oetty us bumber vs euro bumper...

the oetty euro spec bumper is made out of the pur-rim (heavy duty plastic / composite)

the us spec bumper is NOT.

it is made out of stamped fiberglass.
i was told by cec...that oetty didnt realize that the us spec and euro were different and that they had to quickly get a product out there...

im not sure wot the difference are, but i know for sure u cannot put the euro on us cars...

so far mine is holding up, but the rear is rather flimsy vs the front.

You can put put the the Euro spec Oettinger

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/37183/newdim3.jpg"></center><p>rear on a U.S. A4 as long as you do a rear bumper conversion You just remove the rear stock bumper cap, install rear crash supports,
install 2 Euro bumper pieces. Oettinger fits over Euro rear lower valence.
Mine is as solid as my old US bumper, just 2 inches shorter.
