Hi,
I just installed the boosted tech cai, it was pretty easy to install. I was using the evo intake so i just had to remove it. The intake does sit around the foglight area so its sits much lower then the evo intake.
As for performance, noticable better throttle response and torque. There is also no turbo lag, Sound is similar to evo, but pssh sound is slightly louder then the evo, turbo sounds more noticable. Right now all I have is hyperboost hx dv and the boostech cai and it really makes a difference, i wlll be getting a giac chip hopefully next week.
All I can say its much better then the evo intake and the gains are noticable. If you have read intial dtm review on the boosted tech cai, thats exactly how it feels!

He has everything stock and the difference is noticable, he is now getting a boosted tech cai. I was skeptcal, but i really do feel a noticable difference from stock and evo intake. anybody else who has a boosted tech cai feel the same?

Right now, that is the only thing keeping from getting it...fear of water being sucked up from such a low point on the car (around the foglight area). Thoughts?

me too. I just fear if i get anything that low i'll scoop up water with my front bumper being so low
