Hi, I installed a evo intake in my 2002 A4 1.8t cvt. Dennis install instructions here in this fourm really was very helpfully without it I would have taken longer, thanks Dennis. As for performance,I notice better throttle response and pick up. As for sound its great I did not notice anything right away maybe the ECU has to adjust to the greater air flow. As I drove The turbo whining or whisling sound is noticable louder and there is a whoosh sound as I let off the gas pedal. With the windows up the intake and the whoosh is noticable but not that loud, with the radio up you probably cant even hear it. Is the whining or whisling sound due to turbo spooling? This is my first time driving a turbo car. Anyone had the same experience with a evo intake.
