Default gotcha... thanks for the advice..

I'm going to call around and see if i can find a place to get the K04 software installled, what i'm doing for the time being is just allowing the car to run in limp home mode, seems that once the code is thrown the car limits boost by itself to about 5psi so that way I should be safe until I get it programmed.

Did the bolts securring the turbo to the cat give you much trouble?

the two that are easy to get at with a 17mm ratchet were no problem at all, once you break them free you can take them out by hand, the one in the back though was sort of a pain, the easy way is to unbolt the exhaust manifold and pull it all out but I didn't want the extra work so i just used a box wrench on top of it and it took a little muscle but it came out without a problem.

Default When removing the back bolt with that box wrench, can you reach it from the engine bay...

or do you have to get under the car?

hey, ok the three bolts that connect the exhaust manifold to the turbo: two of them i got with a 17mm socket, the third I used a box wrench, you can't fit a ratchet in there between the manifold and the engine...

now the bolt i think your asking about are the three bolts that connect the cat to the turbo, the top two can be removed with a shallow socket, also 17mm i believe. the third one on the bottom you have to get from underneith, how i did it was i had a 12" and a 6" extension with a swivel on the end and then the shallow socket, i took this off just using a ratchet but got lazy and used my impact gun to get it back on there. hope this helps, just have somoene stand over the engine bay and guide the socket onto the bolt with their hand and to tell you if you have it firmly on there as its NOT the nut you want to round off....
