Default could be the rotors

Try switching back to stock with the mintex pads to see if there is a difference. But before trying that ... did you bed the new pads? 2-3 hard 60-5mph stops followed by a generous cool down period without stoping. Some rotors (perhaps your new ones) have a coating that must be burned off before full braking performance is achieved. Also bedding the pads will allow more even and efficent surface contact with the rotor.

Default EBC pads are even worse... here is what you need to do

The pads squeel when air gets between the rotors and the pad.

Take your car up to 60 MPH and haul *** on the brakes. Let the ABS kick in, that's fine.

Drive another few miles to let the brakes cool down and do this again.

Then repeat the process once more and you should be ok.

You just need to set the brakes... this should take care of it for you.

Default Did they chamfer the pads? What type of anti-squeal did they use?

it's not the pads or the rotors - it's the install. ALL pads will squeal - some worse then others - if not installed correctly.
