was the cone filter slapped onto the maf? or did you route it down to the fog
like the boosted tech/carbonio(kinda) intakes...
and was there anything dont with the heatshield? imo a beefier heatshield would help regardless of stock box/CAI cuz the stock one is just embarassing.

Wider duct, more air, faster, and less contact with sides = cooler.
Although the whole area will benefit from wrapping with insulating tape and additional insulation faced heat shields.
