Default was the cone filter slapped onto the maf? or did you route it down to the fog

like the boosted tech/carbonio(kinda) intakes...

and was there anything dont with the heatshield? imo a beefier heatshield would help regardless of stock box/CAI cuz the stock one is just embarassing.

Default Wider duct, more air, faster, and less contact with sides = cooler.

Although the whole area will benefit from wrapping with insulating tape and additional insulation faced heat shields.

You didnt mention, when the probe was in the airbox, idle temps compared to cone idle temps?

It's in the area the cone would occupy and, yes, that is mentioned.

The part number is 8E0 129 618 E and the ETKA incorrectly shows the 1.8T shape (the D version) in the 3.0L diagram.
