All these theoretical physics and what not. Your A4 OEM Dual argument is kinda like the Magic Bullit Theory. ; )

Default Agg, I forgot to mention that when I dynoed my car with the duals...

After the 1st run it lost as much as 12HP and yes I did have a fan on both sides. I have yet to run it with the FMIC, so we'll see how it does. : ) How was your dyno run with the Duals? I forgot the results, did it hold? It will be interesting to see how Jet's does.

Default Mine did the opposite. It gained HP with each successive run but leveled off.

It had a rapid drop off after 5400 RPM which could be the injectors maxing out or the turbo dropping efficiency at the end of its range. Dave at eCodeTuning suggested it might be tuning as well. Still a solid 190 HP and 200 Ft-lbs of torque on the MAHA.

Really the only way to resolve the whole IC issue is to take three simultaneous temp readings (ambient, turbo out, and last IC out) to get the diffusion rate of the particular setup. These can then be plotted by RPM/MPH to factor in boost compression temperature increases and the air moving across the IC.

BTW the Bosch handbooks and technical guides have some interesting things to say about IC's. You know I'm saving those up for later.

Default Nah, I just think it's the best for the given situation.

I'll be at the Lambo factory end of May. I'll have to see what they use. Of course their engines do develope slightly more HP.
