Default iPod integration with a Symphony II?

Yeah, I've searched.... but not finding a lot of info other than install write ups.

I'm wanting iPod action in my 03 B6 A4 w/ Symphony II. My wife normally drives the car but it's the one we use for longer trips. We used a FM solution for our last trip and I didn't like it at all.

What is the preferred method of iPod integration?

I'm aware that I likely won't get song info on the HU, so thats OK with me.

Default I have the dice setup.

Unfortunately, the Symphony II cannot receive song info from any of the ipod adapters. It can, however, be controlled through the radio.

Default do you scroll throur artists/albums/etc or just 5 playlists?

I have the IceLink in my BMW and its only supposed to access 5 playlists, but I "broke" it and I can now control through the iPod itself.

Default I never use the radio controls...I just control it via the iPod interface.

So if your question is referring to the radio controls, I don't know.

If you're asking whether it's a problem to control it through the ipod, the answer is no - you will have no trouble using the iPod clickwheel.

Default Here is my setup...

it is probably more annoying then it's worth if you don't already has the Blitzsafe RCA adapter, but that said the benefit it provides is that now I have a car charger I can remove and take into someone elses car:

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/audio/msgs/49304.phtml">Dockable iPod Hardwire</a>

Anyway you probably won't go this route, but I figured I'd throw it out there
