Default it's amazing the difference one little hose makes

you know that litle 5/16" or so vac line to the front driver's side, the one bent at a sharp angle that wears through?
Mine had been leaking a little, then finally split open. Who knew that little line could make such a difference. It's like the turbo didn't spool, I have no idea why. I figured it would just leak and hiss but nooo.

Default No, no part number.

it's just a small vac line, and I didn't even replace the whole thing, just spliced in a new end for now. The parts shop only had a small scrap of the hose I needed so, this works for now.

Default Yes, same hose, no CEL

mine had actually split all the way through after I noticed it has cracked and played with it a little.
You know, 1 extra inch of hose from the factory would completely prevent that, it's that tight radius causing the problem methinks. Oh well.

It's really odd that the turbo wouldn't spool with that split, I don't have a boost gauge but the car was flat and I couldn't hear it spooling, so maybe it was doing 5 psi or something retarded, but my turbo is especially loud..
