Default I've got a few SB clutch questions about the OFE series.

If I'm reading their chart right, Stage 3 is the OFE HD, correct? Torque capped at 300 for AWD. And
OFE SS (the popular one here it seems) would be Stage 4? Torque capped at 480.

When my K03 goes I may go BT (GT28RS). Thinking for the future, the OFE SS would probably be a better choice to hold the extra power if I do go BT. Or would the HD be enough to hold the torque? The only info I found was a Revo file GT28RS from the B6 forum with a dyno sheet showing 284 AWTQ.

Still deciding between the dual mass or light weight. So far 9 out of 10 posts I've seen with the heavier light weight (20 lbs) have seen some chattering which is expected I suppose. But being this is my daily, don't know if I want to deal with chattering.

Genuine Audi Parts has the OE DMFW for $572.

Thoughts? Advice?

Default I run Stock DMFW with a Southbend Stg5....

You would be fine with a Stg3 on a 28rs... I like the DMFW with stock motor because it is quite (chattering is only at an idle really) and easy to drive around the city, don't need to blip the throttle or rev as high when starting off like you will with the LWFW.

That being said, it never hurts to buy a clutch that can handle a little more power if you can afford it...

Who are you looking to buy through?

Default I have the OFE SS clutch right now and I really like it. The pedal is a bit stiff but I can deal

with it. I would stick with the stock FW, just get yours resurfaced from Southbend for $20 and you're good to go. If you don't want any downtime just get a used one, uh...like mine =) and ship it to them.

Default You think with over 100k it is re-surfaceable?

How long would a resurfaced FW last?

Default should be fine, technically unless your clutch was really really shot

there shouldnt be much wear on the FW at all.

Default Definitely can't afford the downtime as this is my only car. Would either get a new or used

flywheel then maybe send my flywheel to SB to resurface and sell to someone, if it's in resurfaceable condition.

Default Like I mentioned before, my FW is available and it only had 55K @ time of removal.

I'll give it to you real cheap if you want it.
