Germany is one of the strongest global economies.
I dunno what "better" means... but in cost savings, Mexico is better.
The cars are still "German-engineered" and I am sure that VW production engineers and manufacturing managers still set the rules at the Mexico plants.
It would be interesting to compare Euro Jetta's (called Bora's) with U.S. market to see which is better.

But rumor is that Honda is going to make a phat Accord Coupe. Maybe call it the Prelude? It won't be an M3 but is is not supposed to be far behind. Think S2000 + Accord.

I drove an S2000, it is fun for a day. One day. After that it seems rough and it wears you out. I think the TT would be a much better daily driver.
