Default JL 500/1 amp, 2 10" W3 V2 subs, ProWedge Box. More...

I am having these components installed by Sound-in-Motion in Boston this week. Any ideas? Good setup? Bad setup? Also, where do you think I should have them install the amp: under rear deck or on the back of the rear seat? Thanks for your input guys...

I hope you plan on getting some new components with all that bass. That is the same setup I was originally going to go with, but I didn't want to drop the extra coin on a new head-unit and components. So I just put in one 12" sub for now. The setup you are buying is an excellent start to an excellent overall system.

I don't want to buy anything else. Do you think I should get something else instead?

Do you have Bose? Have you ever heard those 2 10w3's in a car?

Non-Bose. I've heard them. They sounded really nice. Not in 02 A4 tho.

Default IMHO the bass will overpower the rest of your system.

Do you plan on adding on at any time down the road? If not you may want to consider going with one 10" or one 12" sub. My 12" almost overpowers my Bose system and the gain on my amp is only half way up..

You sound like your set on these subs already. Just go for it and if they are too much, add on later

Do you have bose or non-bose? How does your system sound with the one sub added?

Default Bose. It sounds pretty damn good for just adding an amp and sub.

It would sound better of course by adding a new head unit and components.
