Just bought a new '05 Ultrasport Avant. :)
WOO-HOO!!! It just got off the boat from Germany on Tuesday and I picked it up last night. Black on Black. This is actually the third Audi I've purchased in the past 15 months. I got my wife a TT a while back, then got my yellow S4 around 6 months ago.
I traded in my S4 and my WRX for this A4. Should be fun. http://public.fotki.com/thecoolestguyalive/my_avant/
I'm going to be adding on the Alcon big brake kit with 14.5" rotors within the first month. Matrix Integrated in Portland is hooking
me up with custom painted bright red calipers from Alcon (they usually don't do their calipers in red).

---- I really wanted an Avant and didn't want to drop the $65K (including sales tax and luxury tax) on a S4 Avant. I went from a 350 hp WRX and a 300 hp S4 to this,,, and there is a BIG difference in power, but I'm cool with it. This new '05 is so damn nice.

Re: 04 S4s can be found for ~46ish.
If I could have gotten a loaded S4 Avant ('04 or '05) for $46K,, I would have jumped on it. All of the S4's they get at the dealer here in Portland are always loaded and they don't budge on msrp at $55K. Add in 8% sales tax plus (I now live across the river in washington) another few percent in luxury tax and we're looking at closer to 70 grand.
