Default Just completed DVD head unit install in my car... with Bose!
For all the naysayers I encountered trying to get this installed properly... I'm here to tell you it IS possible to install an aftermarket head unit in with Audi's Bose system (speakers, amp, and sub). In fact, there was basically one part that brought it all together.

I will do a complete writeup tonight or tomorrow... so psyched to be done with this and successful!

Default yeah - the most difficult part was finding a local shop that wouldn't rip me off for parts
I still haven't successfully done that.
