Default How can you request a specific tech to work on your car?

What if that tech already has a load of work to do that day and your car is not on his list?

Default Every car manufacturer has a few lousey dealers. Your gripe is with the dealer not Audi...

Think it through rationally next time.

Default I would have changed your plugs for you for a beer...takes only 10min :) (more)

But BMW has their fair share of problems...but with the cars..and with the service as well. It all comes down to which dealer you bring it to, and which to avoid. My dad owns a 01 X5, and has to make a freakin APPOINTMENT just to get his MIL scanned. His fuel sending unit was replaced TWICE, and the car would still mysteriously run out of fuel on the fwy (when the needle says 1/4 tank). BMW told my dad to "Bring it in next Wednesday" after his car ran out of gas on the FWY twice. "Just leave the car filled up on a full tank...and you'll be all right til Wednesday". WTF kind of service is that? If my dad would have gotten into an accident because of that, then I think it would be a little more than just a petty Civil Lawsuit...

I drive 30+miles to my dealer...when there's a dealer about 5min from me. (BTW...So Cali Los Angeles area guys...avoide RUSNAK Audi at all costs). There are dealers who take PRIDE in offering excellent service, while there are others who dont give half a sh*t whether they lose business or not. There's quite a few dealers out in So. Cali that have actually replaced motors/turbos from a chip malfunction/abuse...for all it matters..is that they get PAID by AoA to do it.

I would seriously give AoA a call, and in some cases they will reimburse you the money you spent at the dealer. You might also want to file a complaint w/ that dealer to AoA...because dealers like that give the car a bad name. I've gotten over $200+ in reimbursements from AoA...from rental car reimbursements to taxi fares to even my lost CD's that got jammed inside my changer. I would also take my car to another dealer from now on...and see if things work out better. There are dealers out there who'll just change out your plugs for you for no charge...for a 10yr old can do it.
