Default Oh, I totally agree, but some of us have a budget :D Besides, I've been reasonably happy with (m)

Default i live in metro boston, i know about bad pavement :-)

17's are pretty hard to destroy -- you have to really do something ridiculous, or have some really really bad luck.

Default hah...i know, i'm not too worried about the 17s, i feel pretty confident that they'll be fine

its 18s or 19s i'd be afraid about. also, those cost more, so in addition to the initial hit, buying new tires would involve more investment.

Yes, quattro and blizzaks are the best in the snow.

Default At least I can get 16s thru a car wash without killing the rims...

I normally wouldn't use car wash at all but my paint is going to need major TLC in the spring anyway so might as well.

Default i've sort of sinned myself. got myself a 225mph electric leaf blower ...

i can now dry the car in about 15 minutes, as opposed to the 40-50 minutes it used to take me. however, i'm concerned it might hurt the paint over the long run (especially since i wash my car every 1-2 days). so far no problems, but i do feel like i'm cheating!

Default d70 on "night landscape" for that one. point and click :-)

given the conditions i decided to stick to the canned settings -- which are actually pretty good.
