just got the exhaust tips from LLTEK...why is there sand in the tips?

Default just got the exhaust tips from LLTEK...why is there sand in the tips?
I noticed when I opened up the box there were sand in and around the tip. When i shook it I can hear sand inside the tips and more sand started to come out. Did they put sand in there and if so, why?

Default i dont' remember i have it or not but i think is ok
also after you install it dont' clean inside the tip
then after about 2 months you will hardly notice it is jsut a slip on tip and will be very nice

Default no that's not what i'm talking about....
Sand comes out of the tips when I shake it. Oh, and did you finally get your tips from ups?
