Default a question regarding side view mirrors (unrelated). does anyone notice their mirrors rattle a lot?

i noticed when i slam my door closed my side view mirror housings rattle. like they're really cheaply constructed

just wondering if anyone else notices this. maybe something is just loose?

does it with both mirrors

Default just follow these... no need to take the housing apart.

1. adjust mirror to it's maximum angle towards the car, the mirror glass is clipped onto the adjusting motor, so in effect only needs to be pulled off the motor
2. insert your fingers in-between the glass and the housing and pull the mirror firmly towards you, it will take a firm tug to unclip the glass of the plastic lugs on the motor, BE CAREFUL there is a possibility that the mirror glass might break upon removal
3. once the mirror is unclipped, remove the 2 heating element wires by pulling them off the back of the mirror glass
4. push the 2 wires onto the new winde angle mirror, the position of each wire does not matter, they do not have a polarity
5. line up the mirror glass to the plastic lugs on the motor
6. using the palm of your hand, push only at the center of the mirror glass to clip it onto the motor, a fair amount of pressure is needed

TIP: pressing/pulling on the side of the mirror glass will break the mirror glass in half...
