At least the Quattro kept me relax driving to work today....People here are not used to driving in the wet since we got spoiled with 6 months of continuous beautiful dry weather.

Default Loving Quattro!!! Is it as windy there as it is in Sac. here? It is insanely windy...

Blowing those big 'ol garbage cans all the way across the street that actually have garbage in front of it. Feel sorry for my roomies GTI...All this rain though, means SNOW in TAHOE!!! OH YEAH, gotta love the Quattro. So much better than my GTI!!

Default Argh! Got tagged last night going through intersection during power outage in San Jose.

I did my part in treating the instersection like a 4 way stop. The young lady who hit me was driving very slow, but did not stop even though I had passed in front of her. She clipped my right rear panel behind the wheel well. The damge is minor but will require body work to fix.
She does not have insurance, is only working part time and can barely pay her rent. I don't see how she can cover damages and I am not about to take her up on an offer to "work" it off!!!! This **** poor Silicon Valley economy even bites the stiffs who have jobs.
