So far so good, just some minor adjustments of the DP rattling against the cross member.

Default Great pictures. Can you provide any tips on getting the stock cat out?

What's the best way to get it free from the down pipe?

Default Re: Try to get at those three bolts while the car is cooling down.

That was a tip from another AW member. But my car only has 20k miles so all the bolts were in pretty good shape.

Default Why didn't you get the high flow exhaust manifold

I have had the GT28rs for about 40,000 miles and ran with stk exhaust manifold, Nuespeeds manifold, (which cracked) and now using ATP's. With larger injectors and a lot more boost, (I'm running 24 psi) stk exhaust manifold really doesn't handle extra exhaust to the turbo well. It develops "scavaging" within.
I assume your have a FMIC or DSMIC. Increasing boost and timing and then doing your data logs will wake up this system. So many send software that is too mild for car and they need to be adjusted.

Noticed the studs for the turbine housing to manifold joint, ATP has had much grief using bolts.

Default Re: Been following this kit for a while...

Since I had my 02 b6. Been bugging Mike at AWE when it's gonna come out and was told that this kit is gonna be in stages but all modular. Acording to AWE, for this kit the stock exhaust mani is enough.
