All it uses is the "Mute" and "telepohe speaker" inputs in the back of the radio....
that's it. Your blitzsafe will work fine since it uses a different connector.

very simple install....I used the OEM connector and terminals and then used squeeze connectors
to tap into the battery, ground, and ignition lines going to the phatbox unit (or remote glovebox CD changer harness).

Parrot's unit that is a step above this one has a display with such info...
this unit is more discreet. It allows you to send contacts from your phone to the unit to be stored. You put voice tags with the entries into the Parrot unit, so your phone doesn't have to support voice tags. Also it has "magic words" so it can be voice activated at any time, so once it's setup you won't need the switch.
I plan to set it up this way and hide the switch. The only thing you'll need out is the microphone, of which I mounted on the steering column shroud.

yep, it's a nice hidden setup so that when you enter your car the phone uses the unit as the
speaker phone. It has voice activation and you can voice dial once you have your address book set up in the unit.
