Just a polite note for all you chipped and soon to be chipped folks out there.
Please do not post which dealers are chip friendly on the forum. AoA reads it. They can make life hard for that dealer to the point where that dealer HAS to become non-chip friendly. Exchange private e-mails if you must.

Whats the best way to find out if a dealer is Mod Friendly?...
I know, I know... Ask! I guess, can they put you an a "Modified Car" or some type of Black List as someone to look out for?

Exactly. Nicely. Also explain that your mods would be very mild - chip, cat back exhaust.
Alarm bells go off when they hear more.
Oh, and leave the cat on the car ! I just found out that in Ca, the person in the shop that accepts a non-cat equipped car for service, can face 6 months jail time and a fine of $5000 or more.
