Just prewired my car for the hands-free kit.

I made some radio removal tools out of an old ATM card and pulled the radio to check out the mute and phone speaker connections on the back.
There are three wires you need to connect. One connection for mute and a +,- for the speaker. When the mute connection sees ground the radio mutes and "PHONE" appears in the display then whatever is on the +/- connections comes out the cars speakers.
Very simple to do if you plan on installing any hands-free kit in your car. I figure I will mount the cradle in the space just behind the ligher socket and just install the mic that comes with the kit up in the overhead console where the factory mic should be. (My car was built last July so it's not prewired)
Now all I need to do is actually order the kit from Motorola.

Sorry dude, I don't mean to insult, but Audi has done a great job hiding the factory sensors (best I've seen, almost invisible, better than Jaguar or MB), and now look what you did to your car...
The rivet-look is exactly the reason why I never wanted parking sensors.

Sure the sensors look fugly but better than more dings and scratches.
I applied some touch up paint just to see how it would look and they pretty much disappear.
This pic is from straight on and from a normal veiwing height they are not that bad.
Once I get them properly painted I will post some more pics so until then dont make fun of me

Ive tried that. One problem noted, with NOKIA Hands free kit, the audible feedback from the Handsfree are not audible,as the audio routing is not in place until the phone mute operates-you could connect both the audio input, and the Handsfree Speaker, muting the Speaker as the phone mute line, allowing call audio via car speakers. Ive mounted my phone on a bracket along side the radio- looks great with Hirschman Handsfree kit that I used with Nokia Cradle.
