Default i only say that because....

if you wash your car after driving it and the brake rotors are very hot... they can warp with the cold water ... not sure if that could effect the sensor in any way though ?

Default you didn't warp your rotors

MB is right, you can warp them if you spray them with cold water while hot, but that would have to a situation where you just drove 20 min at 80mph on the highway and came to stop, got out of your car, and hosed down the wheels/rotors. Think about how many people would have warped rotors if it was because they drove to the wash...most people drive to the car wash and they are fine.

Did you use any wheel cleaner? Maybe you got a good amount of it on your rotors or on your brakes? I dont know, just tossing out an idea.

Default nope no wheel cleaner...just the soap and then rinsed...the wheels were pretty dirty so i..

rinsed them off pretty good. Does the light usually go off when there is still that much pad left?

Check your fluid level. Also, take a wheel off and check the inner pad thickness (with the sensor).
