Just wondering, w/o the Turbo, how much hp and torque does the 1.8 have?

Default Just wondering, w/o the Turbo, how much hp and torque does the 1.8 have?
No real reason for wondering. Just curious. Would it have more than the old 80's CRX that I used to drive (albeit in a much lighter car)?

Oh well. I'm glad it's got the T.

I thought it was like 90hp or less. I may be totally wrong though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 1.8T w/o Turbo is the same as the 2.0L in the VWs

Default 125hp not sure about the lb-ft
1.8 w/o turbo isn't the VW 2.0

the VW 2.0 is an 8v and the 1.8T is a 20v

Default Different. And even if it were, would still be different compression, etc.
Like DCS said, the VW 2.0 is 8v. In Europe, there is an Audi 2.0 20V, but still different.

2.0 vw's are 115 hp. the audi 2.0 is 130 hp, and will be 150 with 195 lb ft torque with FSI
